ABBAYE ST-BENOÎT

Located in an enchanting area of Estrie, on the shores of Lake Memphremagog, the Fromagerie de l'Abbaye Saint-Benoît-du-Lac is the only one in North America to be managed by Benedictine monks. Their first cheese, created in 1943, was the famous Bleu Ermite which, to this day, is still a product of great renown. Today, the factory produces a dozen varieties of artisan cheeses.
